Pagbilao Is A First Class Municipality In The Province Of Quezon

Pagbilao is a first class municipality in the province of Quezon, Philippines. 


According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 83,831 people.

It is located on the northern shore of Tayabas Bay on Luzon, just east of Lucena City, the provincial capital. 

The Municipality of Pagbilao rests in the province of Quezon, region 4, and has a total land area of 17,760 hectares. 



Pagbilao focuses its development goals and objectives as an agricultural municipality but opening its horizon to industries taking into consideration the sustainability of services. 

Cultural, social and religious legacies will be preserved.

 Economic activities geared towards total development will be enhanced.

 Pagbilao has numerous primary and secondary educational institutions like the 

Pagbilao Central Elementary School (public)
 Pagbilao Academy (high school, private)
Casa del Niño Jesus de Pagbilao (high school, Catholic-private)
Talipan National High School
 Pagbilao National High School 
Pagbilao Grande Island National High School

 and some tertiary education institutions such as the 

Quezon National Agricultural School (QNAS) located in Brgy. Malicboy to name a few. 

One of the country's largest power plant stations was founded in Pagbilao.



 It is part of the Tourism Highway program of the Department of Tourism.
